The Supremacy of the Son of God

Hebrews 1
God’s Final Word: His Son

1 In the past God spoke to our ancestors through the prophets at many times and in various ways, ² but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom also he made the universe. ³ The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven. ⁴ So he became as much superior to the angels as the name he has inherited is superior to theirs.

The Son Superior to Angels

⁵ For to which of the angels did God ever say,

“You are my Son;
    today I have become your Father”^[a]?

Or again,

“I will be his Father,
    and he will be my Son”^[b]?

⁶ And again, when God brings His firstborn into the world, He says,

“Let all God’s angels worship him.”^[c]

⁷ In speaking of the angels He says,

“He makes his angels spirits,
    and his servants flames of fire.”^[d]

⁸ But about the Son he says,

“Your throne, O God, will last for ever and ever;
    a scepter of justice will be the scepter of your kingdom.
⁹ You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness;
    therefore GOD, your God, has set you above your companions
    by anointing you with the oil of joy.”^[e]

¹⁰ He also says,

“In the beginning, Lord, you laid the foundations of the earth,
    and the heavens are the work of your hands.
¹¹ They will perish, but you remain;
    they will all wear out like a garment.
¹² You will roll them up like a robe;
    like a garment they will be changed.
But you remain the same,
    and your years will never end.”^[f]

¹³ To which of the angels did God ever say,

“Sit at my right hand
    until I make your enemies
    a footstool for your feet”^[g]?

Tuan dgn huruf awal capital menunjukkan tuan supratural yang illahi. Alkitab menulisnya 'Tuhan'. Menurut kamus besar bahasa Indonesia, kata Tuhan hanya untuk Yang Mahakuasa, jadi seharusnya tak digunakan untuk Yesus Kristus. Dalam Ibrani/Hebrew 1, ALLAH (Yang Mahakuasa) menyebut sang Anak atau Mesias Yesus dengan sebutan Allah (God). Berarti Bahasa Indonesia tidak mampu mengakomodasi tokoh Mesias Yesus. Namun Alkitab punya solusi yg mungkin tidak diakui Kamus Besar Bahasa Indonesia, yaitu untuk merujuk Tuhan Mahakuasa ditulis TUHAN dan untuk merujuk sifat ke-tuan-an supranatural illahi yang ada pada  Yesus Kristus digunakan kata Tuhan.

Isaiah 9
⁶ For to us a child is born,
    to us a son is given,
    and the government will be on his shoulders.
And he will be called
    Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
    Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
⁷ Of the greatness of his government and peace
    there will be no end.

Wahyu 22  or Revelation 22

Yohannes 6:38-40 => John 6:38-40
38 Sebab Aku telah turun dari sorga ^m  bukan untuk melakukan kehendak ⁿ -Ku, tetapi untuk melakukan kehendak Dia yang telah mengutus Aku. ^o  6:39 Dan Inilah kehendak Dia yang telah mengutus Aku, yaitu supaya dari semua yang telah diberikan-Nya kepada-Ku ^p  jangan ada yang hilang, tetapi supaya Kubangkitkan pada akhir zaman. ^q  6:40 Sebab inilah kehendak Bapa-Ku ⁵ , yaitu supaya setiap orang, yang melihat Anak ^r  dan yang percaya kepada-Nya beroleh hidup yang kekal, ^s  dan supaya Aku membangkitkannya pada akhir zaman."

Yohannes 7:16 => John 7:16
Jawab Yesus kepada mereka: "Ajaran-Ku tidak berasal dari diri-Ku sendiri, tetapi dari Dia yang telah mengutus Aku

Yohannes 5:23-24 => John 5:23-24

Supaya semua orang menghormati Anak sama seperti mereka menghormati Bapa. Barangsiapa tidak menghormati Anak, ia juga tidak menghormati Bapa, yang mengutus Dia. ^p  5:24 Aku berkata kepadamu: Sesungguhnya barangsiapa mendengar perkataan-Ku dan percaya ³  kepada Dia yang mengutus Aku, ^q  ia mempunyai hidup yang kekal ^r  dan tidak turut dihukum ⁴ , ^s  sebab ia sudah pindah dari dalam maut ke dalam hidup

1 Thessalonians 4:16-17
The Coming of the Lord

¹⁶ For _z the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with _a the trumpet of God. _b And the dead in Christ will rise first. ¹⁷ _c Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them _d in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus _e we shall always be with the Lord.

Revelation 4 is talking about Almighty God sitting around 24 elders

Revelation 5:9-10 stated that  Jesus for all nations that worth to open the scroll

  And they sang a new song, saying:

“You are worthy to take the scroll

    and to open its seals,

because you were slain,

    and with your blood you purchased for God

    persons from every tribe and language and people and nation.

  You have made them to be a kingdom and priests to serve our God,

    and they will reign[b] on the earth.”

 

Revelation 5: 12   angels proclaim Jesus worthy to receive power, honor, and glory

Revelation 5: 13   all creature said “To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb

    be praise and honor and glory and power,for ever and ever!”

Kata YHWH selalu terkait dengan peristiwa ketika Musa menanyakan nama Allah (=Elohim) (Keluaran 3:13). Sang Ilahi merespon pertanyaan Musa dengan berkata “Aku adalah Aku” (Keluaran 3:14). YHWH merupakan sebutan dalam bentuk orang ketiga tunggal, jadi seperti "Dialah yang ada, Dialah Dia". Perkataan Sang Ilahi selanjutnya, “... TUHAN (YHWH), Allah (elohei) nenek moyangmu, Allah (elohei) Abraham, Allah (elohei) Ishak dan Allah (elohei) Yakub, telah mengutus aku kepadamu: itulah nama-Ku untuk selama-lamanya dan itulah sebutan-Ku turun-temurun (Keluaran 3:15)." Dalam konteks Keluaran 3 nama YHWH muncul bukan memberitakan pribadi ilah yang baru, melainkan rumusan itu memberikan kesadaran bahwa Allah yang disembah Abraham, Ishak, dan Yakub sebenarnya sama dan satu saja. Sang Ilahi tidak menyebutkan sebuah kata nama benda, melainkan sebuah rumusan yang menunjuk kepada keberadaan-Nya yang dinamis. Melalui rumusan ini, Sang Ilahi hendak menyatakan dua hal. Pertama, Sang Ilahi menghendaki agar manusia mau mengindahkan dan menaati apa pun yang diperintahkan-Nya sebaik-baiknya, tanpa manusia mengetahui lebih dalam siapa Sang Ilahi. Manusia hanya boleh mengimani apa pun yang dikehendaki-Nya dengan sikap takzim. Kedua, Sang Ilahi menghendaki agar manusia tidak memperlakukan nama-Nya seperti para penyembah berhala yang memperlakukan dan mengeksploitasi nama Allah yang sudah mereka ketahui untuk kepentingan-kepentingan mereka. Mengetahui nama Allah berarti menguasai si empunya nama, dan hal ini tidak dikehendaki oleh TUHAN. Akibatnya, manusia akan mudah menggunakan nama Allah yang mereka ketahui untuk kepentingan-kepentingan tertentu.
catatan: Sorot biru menunjukkan yang sedang berbicara adalah Tuhan Yang Mahakuasa 'The Most High God'. Jika dibanding dengan pernyataan Yesus yang selalu konsisten 'Aku diutus Bapaku ke tengah-tengah kamu' maka jelas bahwa menyamakan Yesus Sebagai Yang Mahakuasa telah membuat Yesus bersedih, karena keselamatan adalah jika kita mengenal Bapa yang mengutus Yesus dan mengenal Yesus yang diutus.
